Shri. Sudhendu Jyoti Sinha

Shri. Sudhendu J. Sinha is a distinguished public policy and infrastructure professional with over 30 years of experience in transportation, infrastructure planning, governance, and strategic policy development. He is currently serving as Adviser at NITI Aayog, the Government of India’s premier policy think tank, where he contributes to national initiatives focused on sustainable mobility, infrastructure modernization, digital transformation, and economic growth.

During his extensive career with Indian Railways, he has held several leadership positions, including Dean of the Indian Railway Institute of Transport Management (IRITM), Lucknow, and General Manager (Web Applications) at the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). His expertise spans large-scale infrastructure management, transportation systems, operations, technology integration, and citizen-centric governance.

As Co-Chair of the NHEV Knowledge Group, Shri Sinha actively supports the advancement of sustainable transportation ecosystems, future mobility solutions, and industry-led collaborative innovation. He has represented India at numerous international sustainable mobility forums and has received multiple national and ministry-level awards for excellence in governance and public service.
