Countdown to Climate Finance 2025
Ahead COP28
At COP28, India alone has shown a budding $2 Trillion Circular Economy within the country, fostering sustainability and accelerating adoption to lead the global efforts against climate change. India’s leadership comes with the great responsibility of transition among various sectors to achieve its ambitious goals towards net zero. On the other hand, the realization of these climate goals is highly dependent on the ‘Climate Financing’ of supporting infrastructure, technology, and manufacturing. It is imperative to have Climate Financing instruments handy while debating, discussing, and planning sectoral milestones if we wish to go beyond conversations and execute tangible actions.
This 2nd edition after ‘COP26 EV Rally’ is set to mark a significant leap in the climate action goals and go forth towards fostering innovation and sustainable solutions in the various economic sectors which aligns with India’s COP28 goals, aiming to reduce emissions and propel environmental conservation efforts significantly. The focus shall also be on developing a $2 trillion circular economy and the financial instruments for achieving the same.
